Religion
About 35% of all Ivorians are Christian and 40% are Muslim. The other 25% of the population are local religions.
Economy
70% of all Ivorians are involved in agriculture. They mainly export tropical foods like coffee, bananas, and pineapples.
Wildlife of Ivory Coast
In the southwest of the country, herds of elephants roam. Ivory Coast also is home to crocodiles, lions, Hippos, and monkeys.
Abidjan
Abidjan is the biggest city in Ivory Coast with almost 4 million people. It is the most modern and livable city in Western Africa.
current events
Since 2002, Ivory Coast has been involved in a civil war. This war has intensified in the last couple years. What's happening is, the people are trying to overthrow their government like Libya and Egypt. The people are trying to get their president, Laurent Gbagbo, out. He was actually voted out in 2010 but he has refused to get out.

Climate and vegetation
On the coast of Cote d'Ivorie, the climate and vegetation are tropical and humid. In the north, the climate is arid and dry.
Clarification
Cote d'Ivorie is the name of the country. It is in French because it was originally a French colony. English people call the country Ivory Coast.
